About the game
Liar Game is an imposter game and a party game for groups, the classic who is the spy word game: everyone knows the secret word except the liar. No cards or paper needed, and nobody has to sit out as the word picker, because each player gets the word on their own phone at the same time.
How to play the imposter word game
Share one link and everyone joins. When the host starts, the word appears on every phone at once, while the liar only learns that they are the liar. Take turns describing the word in a few words. Say too much and the liar catches on; say too little and the others start to suspect you. After one round, vote for the liar. If the liar survives the vote, or gets caught and then guesses the word, the liar wins.

Fool Liar mode is where things get funny: the liar honestly thinks they have the right word and describes something slightly off, and the whole table has to decide who is bluffing and who is just confused. Pick a topic or mix them all. At heart it is a word guessing game, so anyone can learn it in one round, and it's the imposter game to open when the group can't decide what to play.
Tips for your first round
- Keep your clue to a word or two. Too specific and the liar catches on
- If you might be the liar, listen first and blend in with the others
- Before the vote, ask about the clue that sounded off

Rules and how to play
- Everyone gets the same secret word, except the liar, who only gets the topic.
- Take turns describing the word in a few words. Make it too easy and the liar will catch on.
- After one round, everyone votes on their phone for who they think the liar is. Ties go to a revote between the tied players.
- If the liar gets caught, they get one shot at guessing the word. Right means the liar wins, wrong means the players win.
- If you vote out a regular player or the revote ties again, the liar wins.
- Fool liar: the liar gets a similar but different word and doesn't even know they're the liar.
